Rich Ferraro is the Chief Communications Officer of GLAAD, the world’s most visible LGBTQ advocacy organization. In his role, Ferraro leads much of GLAAD's public campaigns and behind-the-scenes work with brands, journalists, content creators, elected officials, and social media platforms. He is also an Executive Producer of the GLAAD Media Awards. Ferraro has worked on hundreds of LGBTQ-inclusive media projects and collaborated with companies including Delta, P&G, Meta, and Accenture on LGBTQ-inclusive advertising and campaigns. In 2015, he received a Daytime Emmy Award as part of the team behind the MTV and Logo documentary “Laverne Cox Presents: The T Word.” He also leads GLAAD's social media team, which was recognized as 2024 Webby Award winner in the category for “Best Social- DEI.”
