Amanda Smith serves as CEO for Fairchild Media Group where she oversees the strategic vision, editorial direction ^ global operations for WWD, Footwear News, Beauty Inc, Sourcing Journal, WWD Weekend, Rivet & Fairchild Live.
In her 2+ decade career, Amanda has cultivated a deep expertise in luxury, retail, fashion, footwear, & beauty sectors. During her tenure at Fairchild, Amanda has successfully launched a series of innovative initiatives including the WWD Weekend consumer luxury brand, the WWD Global Impact Council, a first-of-its-kind network of fashion and beauty CEOs, and has repositioned FN, Beauty Inc & Rivet as fully integrated products in the iconic portfolio.
Amanda is a mentor, advocate for women in leadership, serves on the board of the Fashion Scholarship Fund & maintains integral relationships with the CFDA & CEW. Prior to PMC, Amanda served as a senior leader at renowned media brands Fast Company, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, & CNTravel.
