Erin Kennedy is a leading policy, children’s rights and gender expert with almost 20 years of experience. Ms. Kennedy is responsible for setting strategic direction for ChildFund’s business development, U.S. advocacy and external engagement portfolio. Kennedy previously served as ChildFund's Sr. Director for External Affairs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Duquesne University and a master’s in Public Administration from American University. Prior to joining ChildFund, she was the Sr. Advisor for Gender and Empowerment at CARE, USA, where she led advocacy strategy and spearheaded efforts in new business, including a landmark $8 million grant on ending child marriage in Nepal and Bangladesh.
