Megan Marcus is an award-winning producer and journalist who is vice president of podcast editorial at Paramount where she oversees the full creative slate for CBS News, CBS Studios and MTV Entertainment. Previously, Marcus was executive producer for CNN Audio, where she led podcasts hosted by Anderson Cooper, Dr. Sanjay Gupta and David Axelrod. Earlier, Marcus was a senior producer for The Paley Center, where she led the development of media impact programming. Marcus began her career at NBC News, producing “NBC Nightly News,” “Rock Center” and NBC News specials. Marcus’ work has been honored with numerous prestigious awards, including four Emmy Awards, an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, Webby Awards and a National Headline Award.
