Percy Robert Miller Sr., better known as Master P, is a living legend from New Orleans. As a student-athlete at the University of Houston, he studied Business Communications and later relocated to Richmond, CA where he opened his first small business, a record store he called No Limit Records. Within a few years, he turned it into a record label, which flourished into one of the biggest music brands in the industry. As a music mogul, he ventured off into the business of television, film, acting, producing, sports, clothing, and real estate.
An avid basketball player, he has played professionally for the NBA Charlotte Hornets and the Toronto Raptors. Moreover, Master P has played with the CBA Fort Wayne Fury and the ABA’s Las Vegas Rattlers. Miller is a philanthropist, passionate about giving back to the community and helping the next generation of youth to understand the importance of education. He has recently obtained ownership of the Global Mixed Gender Basketball team in his hometown, The New Orleans Gators. Master P has earned a legacy as one of hip-hop’s pioneer business moguls, an emblem of self-made success, and a beloved father figure in hip-hop culture.
