Track Athlete, Star of Amazon’s “The Money Game”

Track star Alia Armstrong, The Rhinestone Queen, is an All-American hurdler hailing from New Orleans, won the 2018 USATF Junior Olympic 100-meter title and won four state titles at the 2019 LHSAA championships. Armstrong earned All-American status at LSU in the 2020 indoor season in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 7.95 seconds and an 8.15 second time at the SEC Championships. Alia was selected as the Allstate Sugar Bowl’s Outstanding Female Amateur Athlete of the Year from the New Orleans area for 2022-23.
In 2021, she was a finalist in the 100-meter hurdles at the U.S. Olympic Trials. In June 2022, Armstrong won the 100-meter NCAA Outdoor Championship. Armstrong then finished third in the senior 2022 USATF championship, after running a personal best of 12.47 seconds in the final which qualified her for the 2022 World Athletics Championships. Recently, Alia was featured in Amazon Prime’s “The Money Game”, shining light on her impressive achievements, including breaking school and SEC records.
