Kenneth Cole is an American designer, social activist who believes that business and philanthropy are interdependent. His company, Kenneth Cole Productions, creates contemporary footwear, clothing, and accessories distributed worldwide. For 40 years, Cole has leveraged his passion and unique brand platform to make a meaningful impact on people’s wardrobes as well as their communities…touching millions.

In 2020, Kenneth refocused his passion on an even larger global pandemic than the COVID-19 pandemic: mental illness, and its related stigma.

The Mental Health Coalition, a coalition of the nation's most influential and diverse mental health organizations, was born. MHC’s mission is to destigmatize mental health and enable equitable access to vital resources for all.

Kenneth’s commitment to public health goes back decades. A leading voice in the global response to HIV, joining amfAR’s board of directors and as chairman, amfAR was pivotal in breakthroughs in AIDS research and treatment.
