SOMO
Jamie Lowe is the CRO for SOMO, the US division of GPO Vallas. SOMO recently launched with 2,000 NYC taxis/4,000 digital taxi top ad screens, representing 65% market share of this iconic NYC digital ad format. SOMO will be launching several other markets early in ‘25 with plans to expand the portfolio to include new formats beyond digital taxi tops.
For almost 25 years, GPO Vallas has been a top player in the traditional OOH market and one of the most recognizable OOH companies in Mexico and Latin America. Our focus is on the shared responsibility of creating cleaner and more livable urban environments for everyone. To achieve this goal, GPO Vallas designs and develops technological platforms that improve the quality of life for citizens while effectively addressing the pollution problems we face in our cities.
A well known leader in the OOH/DOOH space, Jamie spent 18 years at Titan/Intersection, where he helped build one of the largest OOH companies in America, conceived and executed LinkNYC (a 4,000 screen NYC digital deployment that is the largest public WiFi network of its kind), and ultimately sold the company to a Google backed subsidiary. Jamie is extremely passionate about bringing products to market that are based on technology, provide a benefit to consumers and cities, and are funded by advertising revenue.
Jamie graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Arts, Business & Marketing, and he currently resides on Long Island with his wife and two teenage daughters.
