Michael joined Starcom as CEO, Global & US in September 2021, bringing decades of celebrated industry leadership and success. In taking the helm, Michael is focused on shaping Starcom’s future as a next-gen media agency—an agency with people at the center of our decision-making internally and externally, designed for a platform world and built on an interconnected technology platform. Under Michael's leadership, Starcom was named Adweek's Media Agency of the Year in 2023.
Previously, Michael was CEO, Media Brands & Product at Dentsu International. In this role, he was accountable for all Dentsu Media brands worldwide, including Carat, DentsuX and iProspect. Additionally, he oversaw all product development and media technology investment across the group’s 18,000 employees. During his tenure, Michael led the global integration of brand and performance capabilities within Vizeum and iProspect, launching a new offering for the group. Before Dentsu International, Michael was CEO of Carat Global.
