Nicole Jeter West is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry. As Co-Founder of Vanguard Maven Group, an agency led by Black and LatinX women, she specializes in strategic planning, driving revenue, brand development, and innovation across sports, media, and entertainment.
Previously, as CEO of Underdog Venture Team, she led the firm to a successful private equity acquisition, expanding its portfolio to 30 clients and overseeing venture investments. At LA28, she launched the first dynamic Olympic and Paralympic logo and developed the foundation for a progressive data strategy in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee. Her career includes executive leadership roles at Legends, USTA, and the New York Knicks, where she drove revenue, developed new verticals, launched new or renovated venues, and spearheaded global marketing campaigns. Nicole also founded NJW Marketing Consulting and played a key role in jump-starting Evelyn’s Kitchen, reflecting her entrepreneurial spirit.
Dedicated to advancing women in sports and leadership, Nicole serves on the boards of the Women's Sports Foundation and the University of Delaware Women's Leadership Initiative. Additionally, she shapes the future of sports tech as a board member of Next League, a consulting agency pioneering innovation in the field.
Recognized for her exceptional contributions, Nicole has been honored by Sports Business Journal's "40 Under 40" and "Power Players" lists, as well as Sports Illustrated’s "100 Influential Black Women in Sports."
