SMAC Entertainment

COO

April Guidone is the COO of SMAC Entertainment, a talent management firm co-founded by Constance Schwartz-Morini and Michael Strahan. She’s responsible for the overall revenue strategy across SMAC’s operations including brand development and incubation, talent management, and scripted/unscripted content. She recently oversaw the company’s strongest year of expansion inclusive of bringing SMAC’s production capabilities in-house, launched brands for Snoop Dogg and expanded product offerings for Erin Andrews and Michael Strahan, and secured new clients including Antonio Pierce, DK Metcalf, Stefon Diggs and Common.

In her previous role as SVP, Global Brand & Business Development at IMG Fashion, she acted as Managing Director of the division, overseeing global brand positioning, setting the sales strategy, uncovering new revenue streams (including consumer ticket packages for the first time in NYFW history), and creating long-term strategic plans leveraging fashion as a platform (and IMG's global events) for partners like Visa, BMW and Etihad. Over the course of 6 years, April transformed the way IMG sells its global fashion properties, transitioning the division from a multi-million-dollar loss-leader to a profitable business.

During the pandemic, she led the pivot to digital with the launch of NYFW.com as a streaming platform and created an exclusive partnership with TikTok for fashion month — both long-lasting platforms that became revenue drivers. April oversaw a global team of 30+ in NY, Tokyo and Sydney.
