Mike Shields is the founder of Shields Strategic Consulting, where he helps companies in the media, advertising and marketing industries with content and communication strategies. Shields also serves as an analyst and has developed an expertise in digital advertising, video, gaming and marketing technology. Prior to founding his own firm, Shields covered the ad business for over 15 years at publications such as Business Insider, The Wall Street Journal, Adweek and Digiday. He began his career as media planner at the ad agency Ammirati Puris Lintas in 1996.
